What is the ABAK system?

The ABAK system is a patented preservative free multi-dose eye drop dispenser.

It contains a 0.2 nylon fibre micro membrane that filters the solution. The pressure exerted causes the solution to pass through the anti-bacterial filter in the ABAK system. Forming a drop that falls from the tip of the dispenser.

When pressure is released, the solution is re-absorbed and filtered from bacteria and air, ensuring the protection of the solution throughout it use.

The ABAK system filter provides a double protection: without using preservatives, it protects the solution inside the bottle from microbial contamination.

The ABAK drop

The drops released by the ABAK system are preservative free, dosage controlled to ensure that the quantity of drops dispensed never varies. The quantity (30ul) provides a sufficient and precise dose.

Stability studies show that the solution contained in ABAK system remains sterile and preserved up to 8 weeks after opening. Patients can use the product in ABAK system for 2 months after opening.

Each bottle of Hyabak contains an average of 300 drops (10ml) and contains no preservatives so it can be used by contact lens wearers.
